The British actress has landed the plum role of Kate Middleton in William and Kate, the Lifetime original movie based on Prince William and his bride-to-be's whirlwind romance, Deadline confirms.
The raven-haired beauty will star opposite actor Nico Evers-Swindell, tapped last week to play William, 28. Actor Ben Cross will play Prince Charles. Production on the fast-tracked flick -- set to premiere in advance of the April 29 royal wedding -- is expected to begin next week.
