The 3 of us ladies have a sweet tooth. Being born on the same day may be a reason for our fondness of all things sweet. Ice cream, cake, cookies, shakes, candy, even brownies from 7 Eleven hahahaa. You name it we probably devoured it at some point in our journey through some of the best dessert places in NYC or even in our home town of BK. Here are some of the places, some well known and others still undiscovered by some, where we found a lil piece of Heaven:

Got our 21st b-day cake here. Tiramisu with fresh fruit on the time. Unlike any other around. This asian bakery may give you a hard time if you don't speak the lanuage but so worth the trip down to Canal Street.

This is the place for Red Velvet Cake. They offer it plain or with pecans. Pecans are the way to go!!! Definitely worth $6 for a gigantic slice.

Not our favorite dessert spot but the only thing we tried were their cupcakes for our friends b-day. This being the closest spot to school we ran there on our break to pick a few up. Too much frosting and not the best.

This has to be our favorite spot. They were featured on the TV Show, “Donut Paradise” and after trying one donut I was hooked. This place only sells donuts, churros, cinnamon rolls, coffee, tea and a special drink for the season. For example, in the colder months they have an amazing Valhronia Hot Chocolate or Hot Chai. Every season they come out with a few special donuts. Currently for Thanksgiving they have a chestnut donut and a cranberry donut in either yeast or cake. I have been here over a dozen times and you never get tired of these square shaped donuts. The smell is something you want to bottle up and spritz around your kitchen.

I would have to say if you're not a cupcake person, this place will change your mind. The buttercream frosting is not too sweet and you can have a mini cupcake or a regular size. Now you know which we went for.

(Tiramisu Slice)I had to add in an Italian Pastry Shop. They have a divine Tiramisu as well. Of course infused with espresso, whipped cream and mocha cream this slice stays on the plate less than 2 minutes before being devoured. They have a huge array of treats to try so we will defintely be back for more.

For brunch one weekend my mom joined me and the ladies for a indulgent treat for the morning, Vanilla Bean French Toast. This is the biggest French Toast I have ever seen offered on a Sunday Brunch Menu. If you come after 12pm you also receive a complimentary cocktail, like a Bloody Mary or Screwdriver with your entrée. Something I can go back for anyday. MMMMmmmm

All 3 of us enjoyed the banana walnut pancakes, which were very light and didn’t weigh your tummy down after cleaning the plate. In my opinion they were delcious but not the best.

When in doubt you can always go to a local diner. Ours being, THE FLORIDIAN, which has an amazing Belgium Waffle with ice cream and whip cream. And a local Kosher gelato shop, Tovelli's Gelato Cafe, with all kinds of gelato from Dulce de Leche to Tiramisu.
And of course almost everyone has a favorite flavor at their local Baskin Robbins (Shirl and her coffee flavor lol) or Cold Stone Creamery in their neighborhood.
