With NYC Fashion week right around the corner, we wanted to feature another "Model Spotlight". This time around, meet Rosie Huntington Whiteley-(Thanks to http://www.rosiehuntingtonwhiteley.net for the pics)
Like Chanel Iman, Rosie Huntington Whiteley has wings-Victoria Secret Angel wings that is. Rosie became the first and only British Angel in 2010, after making a debut for the brand in 2006. A green eyed, English model born April 18th, 1987 has worked for numerous campaigns including Top Shop, DKNY, French Connection, Ralph Lauren, L.A.M.B., Abercrombie & Fitch. One of my favorite ad campaigns this gorgeous model has done was, Burberry's Winter Ads in 2010.
Not intending to be a model, but just wanting to work "behind the scenes" in fashion, Rosie was discovered while studying in college by Profile Model Management. After she modeled locally for a while, her career took off when she moved to NY in 2005 and strutted down the runway during Fall/Winter 2004 Fashion Week in NYC. Now back in London, she is still making her mark in the industry. What's next for Rosie? She will replace Megan Fox as the lead in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon".
